Our Pre Prep Program at St Bernard State School is designed to support a smooth and positive transition into formal schooling. Aimed at children who will start Prep the following year, this engaging program builds confidence, independence, and a love of learning through play-based and hands-on experiences.
Over 10 weeks across Terms 3 and 4, children take part in fun, structured sessions that introduce early literacy and numeracy skills, social development, and routines of the school day. Activities include music, movement, nature play, storytelling, and creative exploration — all in a safe, supportive environment led by experienced educators.
