The tuckshop is run by the St Bernard State School P&C and is a member of QAST (Queensland Association of School Tuckshops). Being a member of QAST means that the tuckshop’s aim is to provide healthy food and drink options to pupils; primarily to avoid high sugar, high salt, unhealthy fats and over-processed foods.
Meals vary in cost, from $3 to $4; please see our tuckshop menu (PDF, 95KB).
The tuckshop is open every Wednesday and Friday of the school term, excepting the first week of school in January, last week of school in December and for junior and senior swimming carnivals in term 4.
Wednesday is sushi day. On this day only sushi, drinks, and healthy snacks are available.
Sushi orders close at 1pm on Tuesday, as per our supplier deadline.
Friday is full service tuckshop day where everything, excepting sushi, is available to order.
Friday orders close at 7am Friday morning. Over the counter orders are also taken, but includes a 50 cent surcharge.
To assist the convenor in ordering and buying ingredients, the tuckshop prefers all lunch orders to be made through our online ordering system, Flexischools.
Flexischools allows you to pre-order and pre-pay your child/ren’s tuckshop lunch.
Please visit Flexischools to register.
